The organization is being criticized for not approving any messages regarding “Free Hong-Kong.” A young man tricked the NBA dance cam into focusing on him and then flashed a “Free Hong Kong” shirt at one point, and the Houston Rockets GM tweeted in support for the Democratic protests at one point as well.
Some have accused the league of only approving social justice slogans that will make them more money.
Wonder if the NBA will kick out all the Chinese Americans wearing “Free Hong Kong” t-shirts 🤨 social justice only matters when it’s not hurting your pockets. https://t.co/J27bxrsG2v

One commentator spoke on the importance of allowing all points of view if you are going to allow some on jerseys;
It’s amazing that a sports commentator is willing to say about BLM what many evangelical pastors are too scared to. pic.twitter.com/QiqPYF53ta

What do you think? Is allowing these statements on Jerseys a good thing?
