The federal and local officers were conducting a routine screening for drugs and weapons aboard Amtrak’s famed Sunset Limited train in Tucson, Arizona a bit earlier today when they encountered the suspects. After detaining one of the suspects, the other opened fire on the officers. That suspect was later found dead in a bathroom aboard the train.
This is just the latest, deadly example of how dangerous it is for our men and women who wear the badge and who leave every morning not knowing if they’ll return home to their loved ones that evening.
Here at StrictlyNews.com our prayers are with these courageous officers and their loved ones.
