(StrictlyNews.com) – Recently, the school district ordered a school teacher in Marysville, Washington, to take down a Thin Blue Line flag that she had put up as part of a display to honor her brother. The teacher was told that the flag violated the school district’s policy against displaying political beliefs. However, that policy seems to come with a twist.
The twist is that according to the Interim Superintendent of the school district, a gentleman named Dr. Chris Pearson, while the Thin Blue Line flag violates district policy, Black Lives Matter flags and Gay Pride flags do not violate the district’s policies.

If that strikes you as unbelievable as it did many parents in the Marysville area, it’s understandable. It’s understandable because as many times as we’ve read Dr. Pearson’s letter attempting to explain to the good people of Marysville why Black Lives Matter flags and Gay Pride flags are not violations of the policies of the district against displaying political beliefs, but Thin Blue Line flags are, we can’t discern a true distinction.
For that reason, we’re going to give you the link to Dr. Pearson’s letter and encourage you to read it and see if you can make any sense of why the school district outlaws a Thin Blue Line flag while the other flags are not.

We apologize in advance if you get confused by the superintendent’s attempt at logic as it appears to us to be nothing more than a transparent attempt to hide behind nonsensical rhetoric to justify a biased, liberal policy used to demean a symbol of American pride in the men and women who wear the badge and protect us all.
