Mason Schermerhorn Parents Breanna Schermerhorn and Sheffron Pollard Are Grieving His Loss
Mason Schermerhorn was born to parents Breanna Schermerhorn and Sheffron Pollard. The 14-year-old autistic student succumbed to the wounds of a firearm incident on September 4, 2024, at Apalachee High School.
Reportedly, he had last texted his mom from the restroom before he was discovered among the victims.
Ronald Clark, a chaplain and youth minister who knew Mason’s mother, Breanna, was at the scene to help.
Amid the chaos, Clark recounted how Breanna anxiously searched for her son with a glimmer of hope that he was safe and sound.
She had spoken highly of her bond with Mason just a day earlier. Unfortunately, Clark soon learned that Mason was one of the confirmed victims.

Mason Schermerhorn’s mother, Breanna Schermerhorn, and father, Sheffron Pollard, started their relationship on November 14, 2012.
It appears the couple hasn’t walked down the aisle so far. The longtime couple has concealed details surrounding their relationship timeline from the public.
Originally from Walterboro, South Carolina, Sheffron has worked as a warehouse worker at Williams DSC since April 24, 2017.
He worked as a Forklift Driver at King’s Hawaiian in Oakwood, Georgia, from 2014 to 2017.
Breanna and Sheffron are parents to their three children, Mason Schermerhorn, Lilianah Ahmed, and a brother.
Mason Schermerhorn’s sister, Lilianah Ahmed, was born on January 3, 1999. She married her longtime boyfriend in 2022.
Meanwhile, Mason’s parents, siblings, and extended family members are going through a difficult moment and mourning his loss.
It was his sister Lilianah Ahmed who took to her Instagram story to share the news about Mason’s missing. Unfortunately, later, it was confirmed he was one of the victims of a firearm rampage at GA High School.
She shared details about Mason’s physical appearance and his last seen details via her Instagram story.
Breanna Schermerhorn’s cousin, QuinTrilla Johnson, broke the news of Mason’s tragic passing via her Facebook writing,
