Demi Engemann was born as Demitri Kee in Utah on August 3, 1994, to parents Michael James Kee and Jeannette Kee.
She is the second of four children in the family. Her siblings include her older sister, Jessica Kee Freeze, and two younger brothers, Mike and Dallin Kee.

Demi’s mother, Jeannette, is suffering from Stage 4 cancer now, and her condition has gotten worse.
She has been staying at a private cancer facility in Arizona with her husband, Michael, since July 2024.
Her parents got married on December 22, 1989, and have been together for 35 years now.
For years, Jeannette struggled to manage her health while taking care of Demi’s younger brother, who has Down syndrome.
However, as her condition worsened, she had to leave her son and her 13-year career at Provo Nursing and Rehab to move to the cancer facility for intensive treatment.
With the support of her husband, friends, and family, Jeanette’s body is responding well to the chemotherapy.
Her Instagram handle, mnjkee, is private, and she has a handful of followers and a following.
Moreover, her elder daughter, Jessica Kee Freeze, created a campaign called Cancer Fund for Mom. It is a donation page where Jeanette writes blogs about her treatment progress.
She wrote,
“This is such a huge blessing and answer to all of our prayers!! My body is responding positively to all the treatments!! Thank you Lord Jesus!”
The target of the campaign is to collect $150,000, and they have raised $34,963.2 till now.
