Known as “The Mutant”; Bodybuilder Illia Golem Sadly Passed Away Despite His Wife Anna’s Resuscitation Efforts

The sudden demise of Belarusian bodybuilder Illia Golem has shocked the bodybuilding community and general public. The news his passing away at 36 is surely an inconsolable grief for his family and wife Anna.

Illia Yefimchyk was born on March 27, 1988 in Ukraine. He was a bodybuilder, fitness model and social media influencer.

Despite never participating in professional bodybuilding events, the Belarusian bodybuilder instantly gained notoriety because of his hulking and brawny physique as well as sharing his routines online.

The Bodybuilder’s Wife Tried Her Best To Save Golem’s Life!

Illia Golem reportedly suffered a heart attack on September 6, 2024 after which he fell into a coma. He sadly passed away on September 11, 2024.

Golem had led a very private life and not many concrete information regarding his early life, family and wife is present publicly.

However, his wife Anna had been a pillar of support in his life and brief career.

Moreover, reports indicate that when Golem suffered a heart attack, she attempted resuscitation on him before emergency services arrived.

Her action in such a state of emergency is truly commendable. It really shows her genuine care and love for his husband and how well-informed she is.

She told a local media;

I spent every day with him, hoping for recovery. His heart started beating again for two days, but doctors informed me that his brain had stopped functioning. I thank everyone for their condolences. It’s very heartwarming to realize that I am not left alone in this world, and so many people have offered me help and support.”

Apart from these information, we couldn’t find any concrete details about Anna and the couple’s dynamics.

But despite her efforts on reviving Golem and expeditious transportation to a hospital, he could not be saved.

Besides Golem’s heavy built, he is also known for his controversial high calorie diet.

Golem’s dietary regimen included a daily caloric intake exceeding 16,000 calories.

He had credited his high protein aliments to his stupendous physique and strength. In many occasion he had mentioned the negative impact of such diet.

He was aware of the potential negative effects on his health, particularly on organs like the liver.

Despite his awareness about the dangers of this lifestyle, he continued with his extreme regimen.

There is also speculations about the use of substances such as anabolic steroids and synthol being a possible cause of his untimely demise.

There are lists of bodybuilders who have died young due to the use of these substances.

The bodybuilding community has undoubtedly lost a gem and have taken their social media to mourn the loss of Illia Golem.
